Description Jonathan Barry is an Irish artist and illustrator who specialises in painting famous scenes from literature, and is known for his paintings from such classics as Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Lord of the Rings, and many other novels. Sotheby’s of New Bond Street has sold nine of his paintings since 2004.<br> <br> His paintings have sold worldwide and have appeared in over 70 international newspapers and magazines, including The Wall Street Journal, and The Times.  His fantastical painting of Alice and The Caterpillar  will be a lot of fun to stitch with almost any type of stitch or thread. Great for those with a stash. No stash of threads – no problem. We will be happy to select and add appropriate colors  to complete this 11″ x 14″ stitching area. Some of the background is a little moody, but don’t let this scare you away – we are happy to select appropriate colors and provide stitch suggestions for all foliage and the focal point in the light of the Caterpillar and Alice. Available on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
