There are small words identifying each bird that are quite faint and will be easily covered by the background color. Great project for all skill levels but the novice using a fine thread. Kit includes a 14″ x 14″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas and all the colors needed in a mix of silk threads and a touch of silk/merino wool to help complete the canvas.
