Description Clementine Hunter was a self taught artist from Louisiana and the first African-American artist to have a solo show in New Orleans. An important artist representing lives of black Americans during her time, and very prolific. Measures 12″ x 15″ on 14, 16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.
