There are a number of great books on thimbles that will teach you the basic moves required to produce and vanish thimbles and more. If you search our site on the word “Thimble” you will see what literature we currently have in stock related to performing magic with thimbles. There are also a good number of books on general magic that have some chapters or bits on working with thimbles. Some of Edward Victor’s books come to mind where there are some areas pertaining to thimbles.
