Monster Clay Brown The World’s Most Unique and Eco-Friendly Sculpting Medium! Monster Clay Brown Premium Grade Modelling Clay is a re-useable sulphur free, oil based sculpting medium. Composed entirely of non-toxic, food grade components, Monster Clay has an ultra smooth formulation. This features a low melt temperature and a low tack feel that will not stick to tools or fingers. Monster Clay has high plasticity and a unique elastic quality. This is much like soft taffy when warm. At average room temperature, it is firm enough to capture even the finest details and can be re-used and re-melted indefinitely. Monster Clay has a lower density than the average oil based clay medium. This means that you receive approximately 25% more clay per pound without the added cost. Monster Clay melts easily to a pourable consistency and is great for making copies of life casts where changes are needed. Its sulphur free recipe is compatible with platinum silicone moulding compounds. Each 4.5 pound case of Monster Clay is individually packaged in a convenient, reusable oven-safe container. All grades of Monster Clay melt at 57°C. The optimal temperature for melting and pouring is around 65°C. Be sure to periodically mix the clay during melting with careful temperature monitoring. This should never exceed 82°C. Comfortable handling temperature should not exceed 46°C. To avoid component separation, completely mix the clay in its melted state, before pouring into your mould. Monster Clay is packaged in an oven-safe tray that can withstand temperatures up to 93°C.
