Pair of Tole-Peinte Jardinières French: c. 1900 Painted tole metals 7 inches high, 17 inches wide, 8 inches deep $925, the pair Pair of oval jardinière planters with undulating tops and looped handles on each side. They are painted green with gilt highlights including a central coat of arms surmounted by a crown; the interiors are painted a deep shade of rosy pink. Condition: Generally good, the paint a bit crackled, the painted decoration with a bit of wear and fading, and with some oxidation where paint is abraded.
