Product detailsThe True TWT-48F Worktop Freezer unit is designed to store and preserve food items and ingredients for a long period. It has a large top that can be used for food preparation. The freezer has a factory-engineered, self-contained, capillary tube system refrigeration mechanism that uses the environmentally-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The refrigerant has zero (0) ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a global warming potential (GWP) of three (3). The oversized, factory-balanced refrigeration system has guided airflow that ensures cooling uniformity. This unit maintains temperatures as low as -10°F which makes it suitable for storing frozen foods and ice cream.True TWT-48F has the condensing unit accessible from the back for easy maintenance. Time-initiated and time-terminated, the automatic defrost system helps create ideal storage conditions. The front, top, and ends of the cabinet are constructed of stainless steel while the back is made of corrosion-resistant GalFan-coated steel. Its interior has NSF approved, clear-coated aluminum liner and stainless steel floor with coved corners that make cleaning easier. The entire cabinet is foamed-in-place using high-density, polyurethane insulation for maximum temperature retention. This refrigerator has (4) adjustable, heavy-duty PVC-coated wire shelves that can be adjusted on 1/2" increments. Each shelf has (4) chrome-plated shelf clips. The shelf support pilaster are made of stainless steel.The freezer has (2) doors that are fitted with 12" long recessed handles that are foamed-in-place along with a sheet metal interlock for permanent attachment to the door. The positive seal self-closing mechanism of the doors allows them to stay open at 90°. Both the doors swing within the cabinet dimensions. Making cleaning easier, the one-piece magnetic door gaskets can be removed without using tools. A set of (4) 5" diam. stem casters are installed under the freezer for easy maneuverability. The front set of casters have brakes on them.
