Moda Operandi “Father’s Day Gift Guide Trunk Show” May 19-June 2, 2013 The George Glazer Gallery was among the participants in the Father’s Day Gift Guide trunk show on the chic shopping web site Moda Operandi. That’s one of our globes in the masthead that they used for the gift guide (main photo). The five items from the Gallery are shown in the other photos: vintage German table globes by Columbus Verlag Paul Oestergaard, a Weber Costello black ocean globe with a chrome airplane base, a section of the Atlantic cable sold by Tiffany & Co. as a souvenir in the 19th century, and Ile de New York, an engraved map of troop maneuvers led by George Washington in the Battle of Brooklyn during the Revolutionary War published in Paris in 1807.
